The 1990’s
Either conscious or unconscious, what’s happening around me finds its way into my art work. I was living in N.Y.C. as this decade unfolded. My art work had reached a point where I wanted more content and personal expression in the work. Fear and confrontation emerged as a dominant force in my art of the early 90’s. This was a challenging decade. I moved four times, had to repair an old house and build a studio. There were times without adequate workspace. I often turned to drawing and creative escapes in my father’s workshop.
